DENTURES

Complete Dentures:
Complete dentures replace all of our teeth on the upper or lower arch. Complete dentures can be made two different ways, as immediate dentures or traditional dentures. Immediate dentures are the most common because they are delivered the same day that the front teeth are extracted, therefore the patient is never without front teeth. Traditional complete dentures are made approximately 6 weeks after the teeth have been extracted to allow for the tissue to heal. Traditional dentures are normally more comfortable and fit more precisely in the early months compared to immediate dentures.

Partial Dentures:
Partial dentures are used to replace missing teeth when we still have remaining teeth on the same arch. Partial dentures are normally more stable than complete dentures because they use existing teeth for retention. Partial dentures use less material than complete dentures and can have metal or plastic bases.
