Crowns and Bridges

CROWNS AND BRIDGES

Crowns:
Crowns are placed to cover and protect the entire tooth. Crowns are often needed when large fillings fail, a tooth fractures, or after a root canal. Crowns are made to look and feel like the surrounding teeth.

Bridges:
Bridges are used to replace missing teeth. A bridge is comprised of crowns cemented to our natural teeth on either side of a toothless gap. The crowns are connected to false teeth that fill in the gap. Bridges are cemented in and do not come out.
